Device Compatibility
Is my device eSIM compatible?
Most modern smartphones support eSIM, including recent iPhone models (XS and later), Google Pixel (3 and later), Samsung Galaxy (S20 and later), and many others. To confirm, go to your device's Settings and look for a "Add eSIM" or "Add Cellular Plan" option.
Can I use UbeSIM on an unlocked phone?
Yes — your device must be carrier-unlocked to use a UbeSIM eSIM. If you're unsure, contact your home carrier to confirm your device's unlock status before purchasing.
Can I use UbeSIM on multiple devices?
Each UbeSIM plan is tied to one device. If you need data on multiple devices, you'll need a separate plan for each, or use your device's hotspot feature to share the connection.
Purchasing & Activation
How do I activate my UbeSIM eSIM?
After purchase, you'll receive a QR code plus instant activation button by email. Simply:
- Go to your device's Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR code.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete activation.
We recommend activating your eSIM before you travel so you're connected the moment you land.
When should I activate my plan?
You can install the eSIM profile on your device before you leave, but your data allowance only starts counting once you first connect to a supported network at your destination.
Can I purchase a plan for someone else?
Absolutely. Just make sure the recipient's device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked. Forward them the QR code email after purchase.
Do I need Wi-Fi to activate my eSIM?
Yes, you'll need a Wi-Fi or cellular connection to download and install the eSIM profile. We recommend activating at home before your trip.

What plans does UbeSIM offer?

Does my data expire?
Yes — each plan has a validity period (e.g., 7, 15, or 30 days) that begins when you first connect to a network at your destination. Unused data does not roll over after the plan expires.
Can I top up or extend my plan?
Yes. If you run out of data or need more time, you can purchase an additional plan. Contact our support team if you need help selecting the right top-up option.
Will I get the same speeds as a local SIM?
UbeSIM connects to local partner networks at your destination. Speeds depend on local network conditions and your plan type. Unlimited plans may be subject to fair-use speed throttling after a high-data threshold.
Billing & Refunds
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and Google Pay at checkout.
Can I get a refund?
If your eSIM has not been activated or scanned, you may be eligible for a refund. Once an eSIM QR code has been scanned and activated, it cannot be refunded. Please review our Refund Policy for full details. If you have any issues with your activation. We will make it right. Just reach out to the UBESIM TEAM.
Will I be charged any hidden fees?
No. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. There are no roaming surcharges, no overage fees (on unlimited plans), and no surprise charges.
Troubleshooting
My eSIM isn't connecting — what should I do?
- Make sure your device is set to allow data roaming.
- Manually select the UbeSIM network in your device's carrier settings.
- Restart your device.
- If the issue persists, contact our support team with your order number and device model.
I lost my QR code email — can I get it resent?
Yes! Contact us at our support page with your order number and we'll resend your QR code promptly.
Can I delete and reinstall my eSIM?
Be careful — deleting an eSIM from your device may permanently remove it and it cannot be reinstalled. Do not delete your eSIM unless instructed by our support team.
Privacy & Security
What data does UbeSIM collect?
We collect only the information necessary to process your order and deliver your eSIM. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All transactions are processed through Shopify's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. UbeSIM never stores your full card details.
